The Mirekel Board of Directors is responsible for the direction and oversight of Mirekel’s team and projects on behalf of its shareholders.
Mirekel was founded by Mr. Suryoharyo, Mr. Alizar, Yayasan Anwar Muhammad Foundation and 1 another persons.
Mr. Suryoharyo is a specialist in social engineering. He is a senior expert, with 18 years of experience in leading people and managing projects, globally and locally. He builds his expertise in field of Social Engineering as follow: Social Risk & Social Impact Assessment and Stakeholder Engagement. He narrows down his technical expertise in: Corporate Social Performance, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Sustainability Framework Development, Conflict Governance and Community Development.
He has strong experience in public & private sectors, with good working knowledge of international standards such as: the IFC Performance Standards, the Equator Principles and German instruments for Local Economic Development.
Recently, his duty is with Bank Indonesia as a Senior Advisor. Previously, with Medco E&P Indonesia, he worked for almost 4 years as Senior Social Conflict and Livelihood Expert in achieving compliance to international standards. He worked with ERM in 2013 and responsible in all kind monitoring & evaluation for social performance toward compliance to IFC PS 2012 in toll road construction project (Cikopo-Palimanan) in West Java Province.
He also worked globally with Indonesian Trade and Promotion Center (ITPC) Germany in Hamburg and also worked with Wirtschaftsförderung Münster GmbH. Then it is followed with up to 2 years working for deutsche Gesellschafts fuer Internazionale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in regional economic development projects that covers 3 provinces in Indonesia.
Mr. Alizar, he has 21 years professional working experiences in the fields of social sustainability and stakeholder engagement. Aldi’s framework to successful performance of sustainable development and stakeholder engagement is through (i) availability of adequate policies and its supporting procedures, (ii) presence of specific and strong organization as catalyst, and (iii) readiness of financial and human capital. This framework was structured through his educational background and professional career with an international development organization (such as UNDP Indonesia), national and international consulting firms (such as Townland International, Golder Associates, AECOM Environment and ERM) and Medco Energi Internasional.
Aldi was shared his managerial skill and leadership talent to revitalize and/or develop and/or manage an organization and/or a division and department. From year 2010 to 2013, Aldi was a Team Leader of Social Consulting Unit which consists of more than 10 multi-talented and skilled team members at ERM Indonesia. From 2013 to 2017, Aldi was integrating the sustainability management system into the Project level, the Business Unit level and into the Corporate level.
His passion in public participation was started since he worked with UNDP in 1999-2004. And in 2005, Aldi won an award from the Indonesia Development Marketplace competition held by the World Bank Indonesia. It was a special category for the “Corporate-Community-Village government” engagement for sustainable rural development program in East Kutai, Indonesia. In year 2011, he voluntarily initiated the development of an affiliate of international association for public participation (IAP2), as part of IAP2 International Federation. As representative from Indonesia, he became a Director at the International federation, from 2011 – 2017.
